El Limonar International School
is a private fee-paying bilingual school founded in 1990 and governed by a permanent Board of Directors. The School is accredited by the Middle States Association and by the Spanish Ministry of Education. The student population is comprised of over 15 nationalities including, English, German, Japanese, French, American and Russian pupils although the majority are Spanish. El Limonar International School has three sites, two in Murcia (in the south east of Spain about 100km from Alicante, between Andalucia and Valencia) which cater for all year groups and one in Villamartín (Alicante) which cater for pupils aged 3 to 14. The three centres follow the same programme of studies supervised by the main site in Murcia.Courses

The British Primary School

Newton College
is a co-educational British school with bilingual teaching (English/Spanish). Established in 1991, the school is independent, not subsidized and is tolerant of all religions. It is registered in the Valencian Region's Schools' Register and is a member of the British Schools Association of Spain, the International Baccalaureate Organisation, and ACADE (self-governing Private Teaching Centres Association).
The college has been innovative since its founding and was one of the first in the area to introduce bilingual English/Spanish teaching. Newton College meets all the requirements demanded by Spanish law and its studies are approved in Spain and the UK. It teaches both the English and Spanish programme and has adopted the Middle Years and Diploma Programmes of the International Baccalaureate Organization. German is introduced during secondary education and the Valencian language is taught from the third year of primary education. The multi-lingual and multi-cultural character of Newton College reflects one of its fundamental aims, which is to achieve the competent use of English by all its pupils and familiarize them with the life and culture of other countries. CASTELAR COLLEGE
can be found in the municipal of San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia), next to the Mar Menor, an area of crystal clear waters, separated from the Mediterranean Sea by the narrow La Manga strip.
The area boasts an excellent climate all year round as well as a wide range of sporting and cultural facilities.
The centre boasts 16 bedrooms catering for four to six people at a time, T.V. room, dining area, cafeteria and sporting facilities. The bedrooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, heating, a study area and an en-suite bathroom.
Sierra Bernia School
is privately owned co-educational day school offering British education from 3 to 18 years to pupils of all nationalities located in Alicante. The school is fully authorised by the relevant ministries for both foreign and Spanish nationals. Founded in 1973, Sierra Bernia is situated in a quiet residential area close to the village of Alfaz Del Pi, with easy access to the main Benidorm/Altea coast road and also the A7 motorway.
Facilities include a science laboratory, an art room, library, computers and two multi-purpose salons. There is adequate playground space for all ages, shaded areas, sports installations and an impressive cultural centre with library and a sports complex with grass pitches and swimming pool at our disposal in the centre of the village. Extra curricular activities are offered to all ages and pupils are encouraged to take part in school productions. Uniform is worn up to sixth form level, text books are issued on loan and there is a school bus service.
The European School of Alicante
A new school which opened in 2002 providing Nursery and Primary education with the new Secondary department recently opened. Pupils can be enroled into one of for language sections for their education, either English, Spanish, French or German. The European Schools are official educational establishments controlled jointly by the governments of the Member States of the European Union. In all these countries they are legally regarded as public institutions.
